Croeso/Welcome Warbow Wales is the home of the Welsh medieval longbow. We shoot the bow of Medieval Wales in historical archery events. Shoots are free and open to all competent longbow archers.

The Lee Cup Winners
To have your name added to the Lee Cup you must, at some point on the rove, as designated by the Captain of the Marks, shooting a Lyverye Arrowe (specifications for which can be found on the Arrows page) from the longbow that you have been previously shooting for at least 240 yards. The archer with best distance is the winner and their name and distance will be added to the cup.
Previous cup winners are Joe Gibbs, Alastair Pinfold and Jeremy Spencer

Warbow distance achievements will be added after the 2024 Haf Shoot
A table of distance with every different bow wood available to the Medieval British bowyer will be added for Lyverye and Westminster Abbey arrows with both period natural and modern strings
